What would tufting be if we used burlap sacks? This one? Not as fine as I want the tufting canvas to be. It felt chunky and when tufting you have less to catch your shooting yarn on. Can I creat great detail on this material? no. Originally I had a very different idea for the design, I had to change quickly though and it was all I could take to get this sun.
I got my first staple gun for this project - pink. At first if you don't place the words the way you want....rip all the individual staples out individually and move it around until it works.
But there has to be other bags - ya know. I'll definitely try again but for now. Here's a good ol bag of sunshine.
