As the debut work on my custom-built, large-scale frame, it represents a significant evolution in my practice, transitioning fiber art into a commanding, sculptural presence. Now nearing completion, the piece has been mounted on a wood canvas—a choice that mirrors the theme itself by taking the traditional "softness" of the feminine experience and grounding it in a rigid, structural strength. To finish the narrative, I am currently crocheting custom potion bottles and vines to accent her side. The rest of the exposed word on the edges is covered with Legos.
